" I have always wanted to produce my own calls for duck and goose hunting and after 36 years of being a journeyman machinist, and being pushed into early retirement due to a plant closure, I decided to pursue my dream of making my own calls. With the help of my son, Andy, who is part owner, we have developed a high quality duck and goose call for the hard-core hunter. "

The Drake Land’R Public Hunter Duck Call is a call for the hardcore water fowler. Our Double Reed Design has a realistic mallard hen sound built in. This call will produce a very loud hail sound for open water hunting or that very low soft sound for small pot-hole or timber hunting. This call is 100% field tested on public waterfowl hunting areas. This call will put ducks on your stringer

Timber Hole Duck Call

This call has a high quality acrylic barrel with a wider mouth piece for more control. It has a polycarb “J” frame for that soft calling in the timber or those backwater potholes.

Big Water Duck Call

It is the same design as our Timber Hole Call but in a single Reed for loud calling on big lakes or those very windy days.

Short Reed Goose Call

Our goose calls are 100% field tested on public hunting areas. It is a great all around hunting call and can be used in competition as well. Our Short Reed design has that low end realistic goose sound for putting geese in your face. The Public Hunter Short Reed is an awesome hunting call. It has become very popular among hunters who hunt on public areas.

Half-Flute Goose Call

Our Half-Flute uses the same technique as our Short Reed Goose; but with the mellow tones of a flute call for close in calling of those decoying honkers. The Half-Flute design has a deeper low end sound and is easier to break. It requires very little back pressure. It is a real meat call.

Spec/White Front Goose Call

We are getting more White Fronts or Specs in our flyway every year. That is why we have developed this great sounding Spec Call. It has that great sound of those high pitched Specs. Once again they are 100% field tested on public hunting areas.
